Staff
Pullman Vision Source has a knowledgeable staff ready to assist each patient. With a dispensary of over 700 frames, it is easy to find the perfect frame you will enjoy wearing. If you are looking for contact lenses, we have the knowledge and skill to help just about anyone be a successful contact lens wearer.
LaSharr, Paraoptometric
LaSharr shines at helping the patient select new frames and lenses. She has great knowledge of lens design, lens features and oversees our large dispensary. LaSharr grew up between the small town of Rochester and big city of Tacoma. She moved out to Pullman to attend Washington State University and decided she liked the middle ground of a slightly bigger town with a small-town feel and decided to stay in Pullman. She spends her free time either going back home to visit her family or hanging out with her two amazing cats, Jasmine and Raja. If she’s not doing one of those two things you can normally find her reading or watching Disney movies or football. Her favorite place in the world is the ocean no matter the temperature of the water she will go right in.
Jon, Optical Tech
Jon is our optical technician and does all the patient pre-testing. He recently relocated to the Palouse from Idaho. When not putting a smile on patient faces, Jon can be found working out in the gym. Jon is also bilingual and happy to assist our Spanish speaking patients!
Meloney, Optician
Meloney has worked in the optical world for over 20 years, beginning at the age of 16. She walked to her aunt’s optical after school to work in the lab and with inventory. There, she learned much about optics, frame adjustments and edging lenses. Meloney enjoyed the field so much she continued her optical journey after high school. Meloney attended Middle Tennessee State University for several years while also continuing her career at an optometry office in town. Later, in 2005, she received her ABO certificate. Meloney is new to Pullman transferring here from California, and a Navy veteran spouse with one son.
Sarah, Front Desk Associate
Sarah is from a small town in the Boise, Idaho area. She moved to Pullman for some excitement and change! Her hobbies include making art, (she has prints available!), binging movies and tv shows, mainly anime. She especially loves makeup, both for beauty, but also SFX, and is involved in theatre student projects at UI. She has two cats, Okotto and Kakashi, that are her favorite little beings in the world. She loves working with people, and getting to know the community. She is grateful for the wonderful opportunity to meet a variety of people and be a part of providing high quality eye care with such a fantastic group of people.
Cathy, Practice Administrator
Cathy works behind the scenes and ensures insurance claims are filed timely, takes care of staffing, payroll, insurance credentialing and HIPAA compliance. She is well versed in all things “insurance” and helps patients with tricky situations to navigate their insurance issues.
