He and his wife Cathy then moved their young family back to Pullman to purchase his father’s Optometry practice in 1991.

Dr. DeVleming is a member of the American Optometric Association and is a current AOA Trustee. He is a past President of the Optometric Physicians of Washington and continues to be a member of the legislative committee for OPW. Dr. DeWald completed clinical rotations at Case Western Reserve University/University Hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio and at the Cincinnati VA Medical Center. She practiced optometry for a year in Hamilton, Ohio before moving back to Washington to be closer to family.

Caitlin is from a small town in southern Maryland. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Frostburg State University in Communications and Biology. She moved to Pullman with her husband Scott, who is working towards his PhD at WSU. She has been with us since 2013 and is a Certified Paraoptometric Assistant and has become an integral part of our team. She enjoys hiking, backpacking, and yoga.

Jake is a proud graduate of Washington State University. After working in the hospitality industry in Oregon, he was lured back to his hometown. Now he does all the patient pre-testing and assists with optical ordering. He is looking forward to working with you here at Pullman Vision Source. Go Cougs!

Sarah D.

Sarah is a Pullman native who has returned to her hometown after several years away. Sarah wears many hats as our business operations coordinator, managing our marketing, advertising, human resources, and more. In her free time, Sarah enjoys reading, painting, bacon, and being a mom to the (self-proclaimed) World’s Best Dog, a rescue puppy named Eleven.

Sarah B.

Sarah B. graduated from Whitworth University in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in Health Science. She moved down to Pullman after graduation where her husband, Kevin, is studying to become a veterinarian at WSU. Sarah B. has joined us as our front desk associate, welcoming patients into our practice. She has a passion for healthy living, enjoying the great outdoors and painting. She loves life with her husband and two kitties, Leo and Lennon.

Tina was born and raised on the Palouse, right across the border in Moscow, Idaho. Her husband, Greg, works at SEL and both of her children attend WSU. She also has a 12 year old cat named Midnight who thinks he is just one of the family. In her free time, Tina loves traveling, sports, Broadway shows (she recently saw Hamilton, and everyone is very jealous), movies, and above all, spending time with her family. As a long-time patient of Pullman Vision Source, Tina is thrilled to join the team as our scribe, assisting Dr. DeVleming during appointments.

LaSharr grew up between the small town of Rochester and big city of Tacoma. She moved out to Pullman to attend Washington State University and decided she liked the middle ground of a slightly bigger town with a small town feel and decided to stay in Pullman. She spends her free time either going back home to visit her family or hanging out with her two amazing cats Jasmine  and Raja. If shes not doing one of those two things you can normally find her reading or watching Disney movies or football. Her favorite place in the world is the ocean no matter the temperature of the water she will go right in. As our newest optical associate, LaSharr is quickly becoming an expert in frames, lenses, and patient satisfaction.

Cathy works behind the scenes as our finance manager extraordinaire. She handles our taxes, payroll, insurance compliance, HIPAA compliance and claims submission. In her free time, Cathy enjoys making tailored clothing, spending time with her black lab Gryffindor, and making the best beef stew this side of the Mississippi.
