LaSharr, Office Manager
LaSharr is a versatile member of our team who can do a bit of everything. She began by honing her skills in optical and has since grown to fill any role needed in the office. Recently, she has taken on the role of Office Manager, a challenge she’s embraced while still enjoying the opportunity to work directly with patients. Originally from both the small town of Rochester and the big city of Tacoma, LaSharr came to Pullman to attend Washington State University. She quickly fell in love with the balance of a slightly larger town that still offers a small-town feel and decided to make Pullman her home. Outside of work, LaSharr loves to play cribbage, often competing in tournaments or with her Spokane Grass Roots Club on Fridays. She spends her free time visiting family back home or hanging out with her two amazing cats, Jasmine and Mushu Toulouse. When she’s not doing one of those things, you’ll likely find her reading, watching Disney movies, or cheering on her favorite football teams. Her favorite place in the world is the ocean, she’ll dive in no matter the water temperature. And if you ask her, iced coffee is definitely a year-round drink.
Matthew, Paraoptometric
Matthew is our jack of many trades, and enjoys jumping in and learning all that he can. He enjoys making art, doing crafts, baking, and loves making (and drinking) coffee. He has lived in rural Eastern Washington for most of his life, and has settled down in Pullman for the last few years. He loves fixing computers and learning the science behind the way things work. He has a keen fashion sense and is great at helping you with frame selection.
Maria, Paraoptometric
Maria was born in Saint Petersburg, Russia and played on the Russian National Volleyball team before being recruited to the University of Washington as an outside hitter. She played for 4 years, boasting 2 Pac12 championship wins and a final 4 appearance in the NCAA tournament. Outside of work she enjoys writing, gardening, and spending time with family. With her keen fashion sense and attention to detail, she’s excited to help you find eyewear that perfectly complements your style!
Sarah, Director of First Impressions
Sarah is from a small town in the Boise, Idaho area. She moved to Pullman for some excitement and change! Her hobbies include making art, (she has prints available!), binging movies and tv shows, mainly anime. She especially loves makeup, both for beauty, but also SFX, and is involved in theatre student projects at UI. She has two cats, Okotto and Kakashi, that are her favorite little beings in the world. She loves working with people, and getting to know the community. She is grateful for the wonderful opportunity to meet a variety of people and be a part of providing high quality eye care with such a fantastic group of people.
Logan, Optical Tech
Logan is a Pullman native that has been working in eyecare since 2021. A Washington State University graduate with a degree in Communication and minor in Fine Arts, she is a passionate artist and enjoys painting portraits for her friends, nature scenes of the palouse, and local outdoor murals. Logan is an avid reader and has a large collection of old and signed novels. In her free time, you’ll find her curled up with a good book, painting outside in good weather, or playing with her two cats Sirius and Lupin. She is a certified paraoptometric technician and will be happy to assist you with your eye exam.

Cathy, Practice Administrator
Cathy works behind the scenes and ensures insurance claims are filed timely, takes care of staffing, payroll, insurance credentialing and HIPAA compliance. She is well versed in all things “insurance” and helps patients with tricky situations to navigate their insurance issues.
